Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) and aerial mapping are
nowadays being used very much in agriculture.
IoT plays a crucial role in smart agriculture. Smart
farming is an emerging concept, because IoT sensors
are capable of providing information about their
agriculture fields. This book focuses on carrying
out various works of researchers on making use of
evolving technology, i.e., IoT and smart agriculture
using automation.
Automation of farm activities can transform the
agricultural domain from being manual and static
to intelligent and dynamic leading, to higher
production with lesser human supervision. This
book describes the benefit of the Internet of Things
and the smart technologies. In addition, it addresses
the impacts and challenges of Internet of Things in
Agriculture 4.0.
