Abstract
This book has been developed to teach specialized lessons in the design of the master of sanitary landfill center in the field of environmental pollution orientation. With increasing population growth, advances in science, and the increasing complexity of human relationships, the waste problem is increasing day by day and its management has been seriously discussed in human societies. So that, rapid economic and social development, it has increased the amount of municipal solid waste (MSW). In general, governments that have been successful in waste management have focused on holding waste producers accountable, rather than imposing restrictions, in enacting relevant laws and executive guidelines. In fact, countries that are leading in waste management and have relatively comprehensive and low-failure rules and guidelines Suitable pattern are direction obstacles in the path of progress and development.
In this book, definitions of the comprehensive and integrated waste management plan, environmental principles for selecting sanitary landfill of waste sites, definitions and purposes of landfill, classification of the criteria for locating the landfill and technical and environmental characteristics of waste landfills are discussed. In the continued, specialized topics related to the design of the sanitary landfill center, including the leachate management, and hazardous compounds present in the leachate, filtration methods leachate and biogas management, factors affecting gas production and as well as the design of the gas collection and control system of the burial site landfill are considered. Also in this book, to the description runoff management and surface waters and new methods of surface collection, drainage systems, collection methods and surface water control and floor insulation management and to all kinds of coatings landfill and effects of landfill centers on wildlife and birds, solutions to control and prevent animals from entering the waste landfill has been paid. Meanwhile, in each of the seasons examples of landfill management practices in developed countries are presented.
